These two program dates featured streets that were opened to people and closed to cars. 

People traffic replaced car traffic, and the streets were transformed into “paved parks”, where people of all ages, abilities and social, economic and ethnic backgrounds came together to celebrate community, exercise and enjoy Toronto in unique ways, all while practicing physical distancing. 

Although highlights of all Open Streets program dates since 2014, in 2020, there weren’t any activity hubs, given the ongoing pandemic and public health recommendations.
